We have CAL Community School with Pre-K-6th grades in Latimer. CAL is made up of kids from Coulter, Alexander, and Latimer. Our middle school and high school have joined with Hampton-Dumont Middle School and High School.
St. Paul's Lutheran School is also located in Latimer with the only parochial grade school in Franklin County.

Latimer West Park includes a splash pad, playground equipment for countless hours of fun and a shelter house to reserve for family or class reunions.
Latimer East Park has new playground equipment and an updated shelter house for reserving located next to a softball/baseball diamond and soccer fields.

We are just 10 minutes away from Franklin County's State Park - Beed's Lake. Latimer residents head to Beeds' Lake for camping, hiking, fishing and boating. A full-service campground (yes, including restrooms and showers) attract visitors from all over.

Latimer is home to a small but challenging Par 33 golf course. We may look like a piece of cake but some of our greens make for a challenge when least expected. Come play golf with us at Latimer Golf Club.

If you are interested in gardening and parks, we have Latimer Park Society.
CAL Over 60's is a group for our elders. It is a great source of companionship. They share a meal and enjoy entertainment twice a month.
There are always groups gathering for coffee or card playing.

Our Free Little Library is seated next to a bench. Bring-a-book and take-a-book, then take a seat and enjoy the sunshine while you read. We appreciate donations for the Free Little Library for all ages. We also support the Coulter Library.
We hold BINGO two times a month during the winter months in Latimer Community Center.
Besides the entertainment in our parks, we also have a Latimer Fun Day held in July.
